ABOUT PLAY ON! 

 

 
PLAY ON! Theatre Clubs, established by Yve Harford-Brown (MA Drama & Theatre, BA Hons Education) in June 2009, to provide professional, affordable drama & theatre tuition for enthusiastic young performers in the Rugby area.

 

ABOUT YVE

 

Yve Harford-Brown is a highly qualified and enthusiastic Drama and Theatre Practitioner. Yve trained at the University of Warwick where she was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Education, specialising in Drama and English. Following further training she was subsequently awarded a Master of Arts with Distinction, in Drama and Theatre Education, also at the University of Warwick.

 

Yve has carried out research projects into the positive impact of drama on children's confidence and creativity. She has worked with The Arts Council and ‘Cre8us’ to deliver projects in Coventry, drawing on drama & theatre techniques to inspire creativity across the curriculum.

 

She has experience performing in a variety of theatre genres including Shakespearian, Musical and Contemporary Theatre. 

 

She has experience directing productions for youth groups and schools in Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire, and drama teaching for Stage Coach Theatre Arts. Previous shows Yve has directed include The Tempest, We Will Rock You, Bugsy Malone, Robin Hood and Alice In Wonderland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
